X-Fit
The CBF X-Fit class workouts are what is commonly referred to as functional fitness, Cross-fit style due to the mix of functional movements and high intensity.
The functional movements are best described as exercises based on real-world applications. Movements such as pull ups, push ups, squats and lunges as well as strength training with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, weighted balls, running and mobility exercises allows for modification to each workout to be varied and is suitable to different fitness levels.
The workouts are designed to increase your heart rate and maintain that heart rate for the duration of the class. This allows your body to burn the maximum possible amount of calories while building strength, improving cardio endurance and conditioning.
We refer to ourselves as the loud and rowdy bunch because the music is loud and the fun is great and this class has a lot of community and fellowship.
